Activities and Events for Middle and High School Students

TEEN ADVISORY BOARD

Monday, May 20th, 3:00 PM

TAB is open to 6th through 12th graders.  We meet once a month during the school year to plan events for middle and high school students, decorate the teen area, suggest books to add to the collection, and more.  The next meeting is Monday, May 20th from 3:00 to 4:30 PM at the North Branch Library, 651 Center Circle in Silverthorne.  We'll be stuffing the goodie boxes to give away to summer reading program participants.  The theme is "Have Book--Will Travel" and the final event is "The Amazing Chase," which will be held on Tuesday, July 30th.  Contact Janet, janetg@co.summit.co.us or 970-468-5887 for more information.  Snacks always provided.

Missing Ending Book Club

Sixth through 12th graders: pick up your next free book and surprise package in September at the North Branch Library, 651 Center Circle, Silverthorne.  Read the book to the stapled pages (the missing ending) and come to the meeting Monday, October 7, 2013 from 3:00 to 4:30 PM for snacks, games, and a craft.
